Reimagine Your Resilience — 90 days to better
Reimagine Your Resilience — 90 days to better
What keeps you up at night?
Is a conversation that didn’t go so well running on auto-replay?
Maybe you’ve had a physical setback, a scary diagnosis, or are losing ground in your mobility.
Have you recently (or not so recently but it still feels new) experienced the loss of a close relationship either through death, divorce, or separation?
These are just a handful of the types of issues that can be resolved with the regular support of your partner in healthy — and positive — aging: me, Dr. Joe.
For 40 years, as a practicing psychologist whose specialty was aging, I can say with confidence that I know how to help people just like you when life throws a curve ball or you find yourself in a deep, dark emotional hole because of injuries or illness.
You see, when the wall seems insurmountable, the pressure is too great and you just want to give up, imagine how it would feel to have support…
- To have someone who knows what you are going through — and how to help — so that you can find a little courage and determination to keep going.
- To take on one more battle, to try again, and help you see how you can win that battle.
And then, you will find that small success, a small reward, and renewed confidence in your determination so that you can get back to living…
Back to feeling engaged with those you love, doing the things that make you happy, and knowing that life still holds new opportunities.
One of those opportunities is right here. An opportunity to flip the switch on a negative outlook. An opportunity to have guidance to get through a physical challenge — temporary or permanent.
Or to get mental clutter out of the way.
Regrets, guilt, fault-finding, and disappointments are like weights around our ankles — they either slow us down or stop us dead in our tracks. Once your mind is de-cluttered, it’s like a literal weight has lifted and you can get back to life.
This last issue can lead to isolation, a known cause of accelerated mental and physical decline.
“The real affliction of old age is remorse”.
– Cesare Pavese, Italian novelist
Who is this program for?
- You need the motivation to change your lifestyle habits for better health
- You can’t move forward from some kind of loss but want to
- Life feels hopeless, like an uphill climb, this isn’t like you
- You don’t see anything to celebrate about aging, and feel stuck in the past
- You’re not seeing much to look forward to
- Your confidence level is running pretty low, after all the hits you’ve taken
How you will benefit:
My forte is helping people manage handicaps and physical or mental limitations. My highest level skill is working with people who need support, gentle nudges, and encouragement to get out of their own way and get going.
My passion is offering inspiration, building motivation, and getting people at any age, back to living life fully.
We can all be stubborn when it comes to asking for help. I’m encouraging you to loosen up a bit. Why? Because every day that goes by where you are struggling, suffering, or worrying is a day you are missing out on all the good things waiting for you.
