About Us

I’m Dr. Joe Casciani, founder of the Living to 100 Club.

Dr. Joe CascianiFor 30 + Years I worked as a psychologist with a specialty in geriatric mental health.

Let me translate that for you.

Most of my work has been with older adults in nursing homes, where I’ve worked with individual patients, their families, and the staff in these settings.

You can read more of my CV below but let’s talk about now.

By 2019, I was itching for more, so I sold my last company.

I wanted to extend my reach beyond long-term care to individuals living at home, to people like you, who might want to know more about the how of successful aging.

More than just this — since I’ve seen the importance of learning to adapt to setbacks and losses that inevitably come with advancing years — I knew this was going to be a foundational piece of what came next. I also knew that overcoming self-limiting beliefs is an important step.

The reality is, we are all living longer.

Not news exactly, but knowing we get more years does not answer these questions:

  • How do I get the best out of these extra years?
  • How do I prepare myself to live well?
  • How do I cope with challenges and obstacles?
  • How do mindset and habits impact quality of life?

Are we getting in our own way?

I knew I wasn’t the only one asking, so I set out to get some answers.

And the Club was born.

The Living to 100 Club was created as a both a news hub and a community for those with a passion for healthy aging, both physical and psychological; a support system for people to help them navigate around the hurdles, and make their aging journey more enjoyable.

It’s for people in the 55+ age group, concerned with their own aging, maintaining good health, or managing challenges, whether living independently or in a care setting.

It’s a fact, many of you reading this are going to live into your 80’s, 90’s and even past 100. With these added years, it is vital that we rethink traditional, stereotyped views about getting older and overcome self-limiting beliefs.

This is the focus of the Living to 100 Club.

It’s about mindset and state of mind.

How is yours? Can it be improved?

Take some time to browse the website, listen to some podcasts, and know that my e-door is always open. I would love to hear from you, whether that’s in a one-on-one private session with me or an email. Reach out whenever you want.

“I wish my 82-years old mom would speak English! I would connect her with Dr. Casciani immediately, and have no doubt that she would be in great hands.
