Now, more than ever, the 1 in 5 Americans who are family caregivers are struggling to cope with the emotional, physical, and financial challenges posed by caring for aging loved ones – creating a new “Caregiver Career Crisis”. In 2020, the National Alliance for Caregiving and AARP published a study showing the toll that this crisis is taking on the U.S., such as compromised health, financial burdens, career consequences, and a lack of resources and information.
