A Rehabilitation Program for Excess Alcohol and Drug Use

800 560 Joe Casciani PhD

Our guest for this Living to 100 Club podcast discusses the process of recovering from a history of alcohol or drug abuse. Brandon Turner is our guest, and he discusses his own abuse history while earning performance awards for his professional skateboarding. Now, in his 40’s, Brandon describes his own rehabilitation program and how he managed to stay in peak performance as a professional skateboarder while changing the necessary lifestyle habits to succeed in not only his own recovery, but also rose to become a co-owner of a Partial Hospital Program for others in recovery. What are the alternatives to abusing alcohol or drugs, that provide the same or better “feel good” opportunities? How does someone fill the empty places that the drugs or alcohol once filled? Join us for this unusual conversation for the Living to 100 Club podcast.
