He also has a great relationship with two loving daughters, grandsons, great grandson, and friends. Our Podcast guest really wants everyone to recognize every day is a miracle—an opportunity to embrace the magic of life.
Jim lectures, mentors, and strongly believes you can have a passion that makes you get out of bed and look forward to the day ahead. Jim reminds you today is the oldest you’ve ever been, and the youngest you’ll ever be. So, he says, let’s make the most of it! Don’t miss his positive take on life. Be sure to tune in!
Mini Bio
Jim has had an award-winning career as an international advertising writer/creative director in NYC, and Buenos Aires, Argentina. In addition, he created and managed a brilliant country inn/conference center in upstate NY. Home is 80 miles of Manhattan–an art-filled converted barn with an interior pool and two adoring pooches.
His new book is, DEAR OLD FRIENDS—STAY YOUNG, STOP THINKING OLD, AND LOVE YOUR LIFE EVERYDAY. Jim said it was originally a love letter to all the wonderful, much older friends he had in his entire life. Besides a memoir of a grateful life, it gives you many ideas for aging productively and cheerfully. It’s a friendly, easy-to-read book to help anyone learn how satisfying a long life can be. Jim says he greets every morning as a gift, an opportunity to learn, or to share your positive outlook with others. He likes to quote George Bernard Shaw: You don’t stop playing because you got old—you got old because you stopped playing.

This was an encouraging and supportive podcast for us seniors to remind us how other seniors think of life , as we grow older. We must remind ourselves to think. To enjoy life and family. We have the opportunity to see our children grow up, our grandchildren and for some, our great grandchildren. Then off we go. If you stay in control to excercise and eat right, modern medicine allows us to stay fit. Maybe it may be only a few years the genetics will be changing our lives.
