This episode of the Living to 100 Club Radio show highlights the award-winning work done for seniors in New York City by Older Adult Technology Services, (O.A.T.S.). This organization has built the country’s largest and most comprehensive municipal technology program for seniors, serving over 20,000 people each year in 24 tech labs across the city. Our guest is Alex Glazebrook, Director of Operations. Alex leads the organization’s efforts to identify and assess existing and emerging technology for inclusion in O.A.T.S.’ programs. We will hear how O.A.T.S. helps seniors use technology to improve their health, finances, social engagement, and creative expression, from combating social isolation, teaching seniors how to access online and mobile banking, installing laptops in the homes of frail older adults, and training low income seniors on using iPads. This will be an entertaining and informative presentation. Be sure to join us.
