Voice Activation and the Healing Effects of Sound

800 560 Joe Casciani PhD

Our guest for this Living to 100 Club podcast is Courtney McKenna, a professional who blends her talents in music and marketing. We discuss her journey to discover the healing effects of sound. How was she able to tap her artistic side as a singer and performer? How did she overcome her stressful, unfulfilling years in her past? We also explore Courtney’s desire to help people with music.   And we discuss “voice activation” and what it means. What is the process of activating our own voice? How does voice activation raise our energy level, improve our communication with others, help with breathing, and add to our sense of joy. And we hear how playing her guitar and performing on stage helps our guest to slow down and get out of her own head. This is the healing effect of sound.
