What opportunities are there in the second half of life? Margit Novack is the guest for this Living to 100 Club podcast. She is the author of Squint: Re-visioning the Second Half of Life. Margit’s book opens our eyes to the many possibilities of late life. Among many subjects, the book touches on caregiving, forgiveness, and optimal functioning in our later years. Margit is an entrepreneur and thought leader in aging. She is regarded as a pioneer in Senior Move Management.

We discuss ageism and ways to combat negative stereotypes about aging. As Margit reminds us, there are abundant possibilities in later life. But, many of these possibilities take effort to realize. Though her storytelling and personal lessons in downsizing, our guest shares what she has learned about future opportunities from her decades of work helping seniors re-locate from their own homes. And we learn how to manage the decisions about parting with treasured objects. Above all, this conversation is truly about re-visioning the future, while dealing with purpose, growth, and opening new doors.
