Dietary and Lifestyle Approaches to Health and Wellness
In this conversation with Health Coach & Consultant and retired chiropractor Dr. Leslie Kasanoff, she shares her experience in reversing chronic health conditions. And, how we can stay healthy to avoid such conditions. These include chronic health conditions like diabetes, obesity, and maintaining brain function and memory as we age.
We discuss dietary and lifestyle approaches to dealing with weight gain. In addition, we discuss how to maintain physical mobility as people move into their 70’s, 80’s and older. What are these lifestyle approaches? How does whole food, plant-based eating impact health conditions? For example, we learn how poor diet (e.g., processed foods, fats) affects the gut microbiome. In turn, this can promote inflammation, the beginning stage of every disease process we know. How much exercise is necessary. What if we don’t want to exercise? Tune in to this Living to 100 Club podcast for the knowledge and support to live healthfully.
