Researchers have learned there are lifestyle factors – like diet, exercise, sense of purpose, family and relationships – that contribute to longevity. This article presents a nice re-cap of recommendations from the Blue Zones, those areas around the world with the highest concentrations of centenarians. We’re learning what works, what the keys are to living longer, and what we can do no matter where we live to promote our own longevity. Next, we need to better understand what gets in the way of adopting these key factors, namely, changing behavior.
